When the Gallo family opened their first business “The Bretagne” more than 30 years ago, daily deliveries mainly arrived from Bretagne (hence the name), including fresh fish, seafood and shellfish.

Today the range of seafood on offer has greatly increased with customers not only from all over Brussels, but also from Gent, Liege, Namur, Charleroi and Antwerp wanting to buy generous doses of iodine freshly fished in the Atlantic and Mediterranean seas to serve at table.

Orders are taken every day, even after the last shift, for mackerel, horse mackerel, black mullet, cuttlefish, squid, halibut, bass, sea bream, Scottish and Scandinavian salmon, Icelandic cod and many other types of fish.

In order for the fish to be ready to serve less than one day after leaving its natural surroundings, our teams order all produce the previous day.

In order to ensure regular carriage, produce is ordered on time and only stocked for the period necessary to transport it to the final destination, without ever needing to break the cold chain. We supply hotels, restaurants fish merchants, caterers, private individuals and without doubt the most demanding of all, where we get top scores, are the Japanese restaurants established in the city of Brussels and its main outskirts.
